Smart, compact, and lightweight — the ultimate DC high-voltage withstand testing solution for vacuum interrupters and circuit breakers.
The KPM VIT-100 (Vacuum Interrupter Tester) is applied for vacuum interrupter or vacuum interrupter circuit breaker high-voltage withstand tests. The test results are used to determine whether the VI or the VI of the circuit breaker is still in a healthy condition.
The tester can generate DC high voltage up to 60kV on both sides of the VI. At the same time, it samples and displays the leakage current flowing through the VI. The leakage current value is used to evaluate whether the VI remains in good condition.
The KPM VIT-100 is smart, compact, and lightweight. Its operation is also very simple, making it an ideal tool for vacuum circuit applications in power utility construction and maintenance departments. It can also be used as a quick quality control tool for vacuum interrupter and circuit breaker manufacturers for VI high-voltage withstand tests.
Generates high voltage on both sides of the VI simultaneously.
Displays real-time leakage current to evaluate VI condition.
Only 9kg — ideal for field and maintenance use.
Designed for ease of use in demanding environments.
The KPM VIT-100 is engineered for a wide range of high-voltage testing scenarios across power utilities and manufacturing environments.
Perform precise DC high-voltage withstand tests directly on standalone vacuum interrupters to verify their insulation integrity.
Test the vacuum interrupter within an assembled circuit breaker to confirm the breaker remains in safe, operational condition.
Use the KPM VIT-100 as a general-purpose DC high-potential (HIPOT) tester for quality control and acceptance testing applications.

Proper connection of the KPM VIT-100 to the vacuum interrupter is essential for accurate and safe testing. Follow the procedure below carefully.
Connect the DC voltage output terminal of the tester to one side of the vacuum interrupter (VI) using the high-voltage cable provided.
Connect the other side of the VI to the leakage current measurement input terminal of the tester to complete the measurement circuit.
Connect the tester's ground terminal to earth ground to ensure safe operation and accurate readings throughout the test.
Click the "Test Voltage" button in the test setting window to configure the desired test voltage from the main menu. The valid high-voltage withstand time range is 1–60s.
The KPM VIT-100 provides six quick test voltage levels accessible directly from the main menu. Each level covers a defined adjustable voltage range, allowing operators to quickly configure the appropriate test voltage for their application. The valid high-voltage withstand time range is 1–60 seconds.

Adjustable range: 5–10kV
Adjustable range: 11–20kV
Adjustable range: 21–30kV
Adjustable range: 31–40kV
Adjustable range: 41–50kV
Adjustable range: 51–60kV
Voltage setting resolution is 1kV per step. Click the "Test Voltage" button in the test setting window to access and configure these levels from the
main menu.
The valid adjustment range for the high-voltage withstand test time is 1 to 60 seconds. Operators can set the desired duration within this range to match the requirements of the specific test standard or application being performed.

The test current setting on the KPM VIT-100 is used to adjust the maximum allowable leakage current during a test. The valid adjustment range is 1–300µA.
If the leakage current flowing into the tester through the input terminal exceeds the preset value, the tester will automatically enter protection mode and display an overcurrent protection message, safeguarding both the equipment under test and the operator.
